Random mated Queens
Random mated bee Queens are bee Queens acquired from selective purebred A. m. Carnica. The parental families were fully
tested and received the rating in BLUP system not lower then A,AV
Queen bees are mated naturally on purebred stations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Genetic purity of fertilization not below 80 percent.
Queens can be used in industry and for breeding of F1 queens.
Queens are not fitted for Selective breeding.
Island mated bee Queens
Island mated bee Queens are bee Queens acquired from selective purebred A. m. Carnica. The parental families were fully
tested and received the rating in BLUP system not lower then A,AV.
Queen bees are mated naturally on purebred isolated Island Stations
in the Netherlands and Germany.
Drones are from purebred A.m. Carnica families, specially selected to be varoa-tollerant.
Genetic purity of fertilization not below 96 percent.
Queens are suitable for  commercial use, for production of bee queens F1 and  bees Selection.
Artificial inseminated bee Queens
Artificially inseminated bee Queens are bee queen acquired from selective purebred A. m. Carnica. The parental families
were fully tested and received the rating in BLUP system not lower then A,AV
Queens are artificially inseminated using the sperma of specially chosen drones. Drones are derived from the selective
purebred A.m. Carnica families acquired from German beekeeping institutions and from the best breeders in Belgium,
Germany and Holland.
Different genetic combinations are possible, depending on the goals of breeding.
Genetic purity of fertilization 100  percent.
Queen bees are suitable for any purpose, including commercial use, for breeding bee queens F1 and bees Selection.
Selected breeders Queens
Selected breeders Queens are bee queens acquired from selective purebred A. m. Carnica. The parental families were
extensively tested and received the rating in BLUP system not lower then A,AV
The duration of extensive testing is minimum two years. Testing is done according the BLUP system, and includes -
survivability testing (against varoa infection), testing on purity of genetic line, testing on successful transfer of the positive
traits to the next generations, etc…
Insemination is strictly artificial.
Parental drone families were taken according to BLUP selection program on varoa resistance.
The genetic purity of fertilization is 100%.
